Abundance and Butterfly

Oil and gold leaf
These paintings are either oil on canvas or wood, with real gold leaf. I use the gold because of how it shines. It doesn't look like anything else. Every viewpoint and light combination changes its appearance.

Angel and drum

Angels
Most of these images are from my imagination. For years I have been visualizing all sorts of creatures: angels, demons, elves and so forth. They are an effort to make the unseen or not seen, you know...seen!

Portrait of Stephanie and Portia Greene

Portraits
These are portraits that were either done as commission or for fun. They are completed in either red conti (red chalk), or charcoal on paper, or oil on canvas or wood.

Study of Dan

Figures
These are drawings and paintings completed for a number of purposes from the live model: as completed studies, as drawing preparation for painting, or just out of love for the human form.
