Golden
Golden was painted in oil on canvas with gold leaf and blue silver leaf added to parts of the background. It was meant as a very warm painting of the dried golden flowers and the butterfly, bee and dragonfly.

Abundance and Butterfly

Abundance and Butterfly
Oil and gold leaf on oak panel, original is 18 x 24". The theme is about what we create here and all that is abundant around us. The objects are all man made or harvested. The gold leaf is meant to signify that these things have a natural spiritual quality to them.

Sentinels

Sentinels
Oil painting with gold leaf on wood, original size 16 x 20". This is an allegory about divine protection. The sunflowers are giant spiritual guardians, the bees are messengers from the heavens, the gold leaf is absolute purity, the dragonflies are people like us and the flowers and organic material in the front are what we create. So in the painting the bees are bringing in news that the guardians let through to the happy dragonflies playing in the flowers.
